History: Martini SPA is 40 years old! |
In 1969, at Coenzo, Ugo Martini created Martini Poliresine, which at that time processed polyurethane for several firms in the furniture industry, in close contact with the great Italian designers of those times. With the passing of time the firm matured and moved away from the field of subcontracting and began to strike out on one hand into the world of special products (supplying various industries from household appliances to the motor industry) and on the other hand towards wide-scale consumption.
This was how the story of Martini SPA began, a story of successes inspired by creativity and continuous technological innovation, and of how for many years the firm has been proposing products answering to the most varied of daily needs imaginable. Who does not remember the sponges in the shape of fruit, cake or ice cream, or the Statue of Liberty? It was the 1980s, and Martini was already on the shelves of the most exclusive shops of the world with its creations in expanded polyurethane.
Since then Martini has concentrated on distinctive complete lines in continuous collaboration with architects and designers, above all from Italy, enabling the planning and presentation on the market of products with an extraordinary appeal to the eye of the consumer on account of their shape, colour and functionality of use.
Today Martini SPA is a protagonist of the sponge production market, and is the Italian leader in the sector of body care accessories. Their production includes, besides body sponges (of differing shapes, colours and, from now on, perfumes), brushes, strips, gloves and also sponges and cloths for cleaning the house and car.
This year Martini Spa celebrates its 40th anniversary of activity, and, now as always, the enthusiasm and the striving for innovation are the driving forces behind the entire company system, from design to production. The new ranges of products dedicated to body care and personal well-being are accompanied by the new ranges of sponges and products for cleaning the house and car, a testimony to the continual growth of the company, increasingly aware of the demands of a new style of living.
