New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions 1200 800 Martini Spa

The start of a new year brings a craving for fresh beginnings—and after a marathon of family lunches and indulgent panettone, it’s time to pause, take stock, and write our resolutions for 2026.
Every year we promise ourselves the same things: hit the gym, eat better, find inner peace… Then, with a dose of realism, we add a few more concrete goals—just so we can enjoy crossing at least one off the list.

What if this year we began with a resolution that truly helps us—and the planet? Living more sustainably.

It’s our aim as well, year after year, even though we know it isn’t always easy, especially when it comes to the home and personal care.

That’s why we’re sharing three small, sustainable habits (plus a bonus) you can put into practice right away.

1. Plan meals to cut waste

A little organization lightens the load—especially on workdays.
Plan the week’s meals, make a focused shopping list, and try to use what’s already in the fridge first, ideally by order of expiry.
There are plenty of apps that suggest “use-up-the-fridge” recipes, perfect for giving leftovers a second life. You’ll reduce food waste and always know what’s for dinner.

2. Eat less meat or choose local farms

It’s widely known that intensive livestock farming has a significant environmental impact.
Cutting back on meat—even a little—is already a meaningful step.
Alternatively, choose products from small local farms: you’ll support local producers and encourage a more ethical, respectful model.

3. Optimize energy and cooking methods

Kitchen habits make a difference.
Air fryers, for instance, have changed the way we cook, cutting energy consumption compared to a traditional oven. You can go further: use lids and pressure cookers, or cook multiple dishes at once when possible.
And when it’s time to clean, choose eco-friendly, recyclable products—like those in our Mr.Eco line.

A small help for a big resolution

Mr.Eco is MartiniSPA’s collection made with biodegradable, recyclable, or plastic-free materials—designed to lower environmental impact without sacrificing performance.
From the Double-Action Sponge in cellulose and heavy-duty fiber—perfect for stubborn, baked-on pots and pans—to the bamboo-and-cotton floor cloth for a quick home refresh, every product is created to care for your home while respecting nature.

Small gestures can spark big change: 2026 can truly be the year to start.
